The 2nd Street Strut is an annual event held on New Years Day. During the 2nd Street Strut, families, Mummers and friends gather on 2nd Street to celebrate.

Previously known, as the “Two Street Parade,” the 2nd Street Strut gives Mummers the chance to perform for the community along 2nd Street.

In 2015, a group of dedicated leaders, including representatives from all of the Mummers organizations, the Pennsport Civic Association, local police and community business leaders formed the 2nd Street Safety Committee and began meeting to organize the 2nd Street Strut as a family-friendly celebration of Mummery.

Considerable time and effort has gone into developing an entire event that will be safe, fun and respectful of our neighborhood and our property.

The 2nd Street Strut will begin as clubs return from their performance along Broad Street.  It will go until 10PM.
